As PSL 2025 approaches, winners have their eyes set at trophy and some serious prize money is also on the table.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday revealed the prize money for the PSL 2025 scheduled to take place tomorrow (April 11).
In the PSL 2025, there will be 34 exciting matches taking place across the country as the winner team who manages to outcompete every other team will get huge prize money and trophy.
Prize Money for PSL 2025 Winners
The winners of PSL 2025 will not only receive the Luminara Trophy but will also take home prize money of $500,000. In Pakistani Rupees (PKR), that is a cash prize of above Rs140 million (14 Crore) based on the current exchange rate.
But that is not all, because the runner-up team (second position) will get the huge prize of $200,000. The team who will come at second position will bag the prize money more than Rs56 million (5.6 crore).
The PCB while announcing the prize money for PSL 2025, highlighted: “The six teams will also be locking horns to take away the USD 500,000 prize money set for the winners, while the runners-up team will be awarded USD 200,000.”
PSL 2025 Opening Ceremony Details
The much-awaited PSL opening ceremony 2025 is scheduled to take place on Friday ,11th April 2025, making it the perfect start to the weekend. Fans across the country are looking forward to the event as it marks the official beginning of PSL 10, celebrating a decade of cricket entertainment.
PSL 2025 Time and Venue:
The grand event will begin at 7 PM, and it promises to deliver a high-energy experience from the moment it starts. The opening ceremony will lead into the first match of the tournament, setting the tone for the rest of the league.
This year, the PSL opening ceremony will be hosted in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium followed by the match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
