Light to heavy rainfall in various parts of Lahore on the night of Thursday brought relief from the heat. Lahore and other cities of Punjab had been grappling with heat for the past week. Earlier on Thursday evening, the city also experienced a heavy storm.
Not only Lahore, but Islamabad also experienced a storm.
Rainfall recorded was as follows: 2 mm in Jail Road and Gulberg, 5 mm in Lakshmi Chowk, 4 mm in Upper Mall, 3 mm in Mughalpura, and 4 mm in Tajpura.
Additionally, 1 mm was recorded in Nishtar Town, 4 mm in Chowk Nakuda, 5 mm in Pani Wala Talab, 2 mm in Farrukhabad, and 2 mm in Allama Iqbal Town.
Similarly, 1 mm of rain was recorded in Johar Town and 2.5 mm in Qurtaba Chowk. However, the average rainfall across Lahore city was recorded at 2.4 mm.
