There is a post circulating on social media claiming that the British Council has delayed the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) examinations from April 24 onwards due to bomb threats made by an organisation named ‘Tanzeem ul Qayamat’.

“We regret to inform you that due to credible security threats, all Cambridge examinations in Pakistan from 24 April 2025 onwards have been cancelled until further notice. This decision has been made in close consultation with Cambridge International and is necessary to ensure the safety of all candidates and staff,” read the post arrtibuted to British Council.

“We are working to assess the impact of this decision and to determine alternative arrangements. You will be contacted through your school with more details no later than Friday, 25 April 2025,” it added.

However, there is no authenticity to this post, and it has not been shared by the British Council. No press release regarding the delay or cancellation of examinations has been published on their website or any official social media accounts of the British Council Pakistan.
