PTI’s protest against Gen Asim Munir in London flops

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) has remained unsuccessful in its protest against the Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir in London on Thursday.

Azaad Digital reported that PTI’s Shehzad Akbar who is self-exiled in United Kingdom participated in the protest; however, PTI workers soon left following Akbar’s early departure from the protest.

According to Azaad Digital, only fifty one people participated to protest against the Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir who is on an official trip to the UK.

PTI called for a protest in front of the Pakistani High Commission in London against the Army Chief’s visit to the UK. However, 1.5 million overseas Pakistanis living in the UK rejected PTI’s call. PTI was able to gather only 51 people to protest in front of the Pakistani High Commission.

Azad Digital reported live on PTI’s protest in front of the Pakistani High Commission in London. It can be seen in the videos that a handful of people are gathered in front of the Pakistani High Commission and are shouting slogans.
