Acting on the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Sunday sent its 15th relief consignment for the people of Palestine.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, this latest shipment is part of Pakistan’s continued humanitarian efforts for the Middle East and marks the 26th consignment overall for the region’s conflict-hit communities.
With this dispatch, Pakistan has so far sent 1,518 tons of relief goods exclusively for Palestine, reflecting the country’s sustained support for the people of Gaza during these challenging times.
In total, Pakistan has delivered 2,045 tons of humanitarian aid to the Middle East, which also includes 416 tons for Lebanon and 111 tons for Syria.
The government has reaffirmed its commitment to standing by the people of Palestine and pledged to continue providing assistance as the situation on the ground evolves.
