WEBDESK: Pak Suzuki has officially launched the upgraded version of its popular car, the Suzuki Alto, in Pakistan. This new 2025 model comes with several safety and comfort features, making it a better option for everyday drivers – but it also brings a noticeable price increase.
The 660cc car weighs less than international models, making it wobble over after minor collisions, raising doubts about its safety, especially on motorways. To improve its quality, Suzuki rolled out new set of features including Anti-lock Braking System, seat-belt reminder.
Safety comes first
The new Suzuki Alto now includes advanced safety features to address customer concerns. The VXR variant is now equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), which helps maintain better control during sudden braking. Other additions include seat-belt reminders, child seat anchors (ISOFIX), and a warning light for unfastened seatbelts.
Comfort features added
Pak Suzuki has also improved the comfort and convenience inside the cabin. The VXR AGS variant now comes with all power windows and illuminated power window switches. A rear chrome garnish and a re-positioned rear door emblem add to the vehicle’s upgraded look.
Prices go up
With the added features, the prices for different Suzuki Alto variants have increased:
- Alto VXR MT: Rs2,827,000 (+ Rs. 120,000)
- Alto VXR AGS: Rs2,989,000 ( + Rs. 95,000)
- Alto VXL AGS: Rs3,140,000 (+ Rs. 95,000)
The company has said that this price hike reflects the value of the new upgrades and aims to offer a safer driving experience to customers.
A reliable choice for city driving
The Suzuki Alto remains one of the most affordable and fuel-efficient cars in the local market. With these new improvements, Pak Suzuki hopes to maintain its lead in the hatchback category by offering better features for a slightly higher price.
