The Government of Pakistan has issued a new directive to all provinces, warning that any citizen who rents out property—be it a house, shop, or hotel room—to illegal foreigners will also be held accountable under the law.

According to the instructions, only individuals who possess valid legal documents, regardless of their nationality, can be given employment, accommodation, or allowed to engage in any kind of transaction involving moveable or immovable property in the country.

The government emphasised that hotel bookings, rental agreements, business partnerships, and job offers must strictly be limited to those who have proper documentation. Citizens found dealing with undocumented foreigners may face legal consequences.
