WEBDESK: Facebook has launched a new feature called the “Friends Tab” to help users stay connected with their friends’ posts. This update aims to make it easier for people to see content shared by their friends instead of random posts from other sources.

According to Facebook, the Friends Tab was introduced on March 27 but is currently only available in the U.S. and Canada. The company plans to roll it out to other countries in the coming months, allowing more users to enjoy a more personalized feed.

The Friends Tab replaces the previous “Friend Requests” tab. Now, instead of a separate section for friend requests, users will see a “Friends” option. When clicked, it will open a dedicated space showing only posts, videos, and other updates from friends. Pending friend requests will also be visible within this section.

Facebook has also made it easier for users to find the Friends Tab by allowing them to pin it in their settings. This ensures it stays at the top of their feed, making it more convenient to access friend-related content.

While the feature is already live in some regions, Facebook has confirmed that it will gradually expand access to more countries. Users in Pakistan and other regions will have to wait a little longer before they can use this update.

With this change, Facebook aims to enhance user experience by prioritizing connections with friends over suggested content. The platform continues to evolve, focusing on keeping users engaged with meaningful interactions.
