WEBDESK: The Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, held a crucial phone call with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis on Saturday May 3, 2025. The conversation primarily focused on growing concerns regarding India’s recent provocative actions, particularly its suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and false allegations against Pakistan.
Ishaq Dar presented the serious concerns of Pakistan to Minister Cassis while discussing India’s recent actions that contrary to international pacts. The suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty by India regarding river water distribution between both nations emerged as a main point of discussion. According to Dar these decision implementation mechanisms would create severe problems which threaten both regional peace and security dimensions.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister also raised the issue of India’s increasing use of baseless propaganda aimed at undermining Pakistan’s image on the global stage.
