WEBDESK: Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir has strongly defended the Two-Nation Theory, calling it the foundation of Pakistan’s creation. Speaking at the passing out parade of cadets in Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul on Saturday, Asim Munir rejected what he described as the usual false propaganda by Indian media. He said that Muslims are completely different from Hindus in religion, traditions, way of thinking, and goals.
“They can never be one nation. Our religion, traditions, mindset, and objectives are different from Hindus,” he said.
He stressed that Muslims and Hindus are two separate nations and can never be one. He highlighted that their beliefs, customs, and aspirations differ greatly, which justified the historic demand for a separate homeland for Muslims.
While addressing the ceremony, Asim Munir criticized Indian electronic and social media, saying they cannot change or distort historical facts. He emphasized that Pakistan was created after countless sacrifices by Muslims, and the nation knows very well how to protect its identity and existence.
“Our ancestors made countless sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan, and we know how to defend it,” said the COAS.
General Asim Munir stated that despite repeated attempts by Indian media to mislead the world, Pakistan remains committed to the truth of its history. He reassured the cadets and the people of Pakistan that the Army stands firm in its resolve to defend the country’s founding principles.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz addressed the passing out parade at Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul and called for an independent, neutral probe into the recent Pahalgam attack. Speaking at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, PM Shehbaz emphasized the need to move beyond the “perpetual blame game” and highlighted Pakistan’s willingness to participate in any credible international inquiry. He criticized India for making baseless allegations without verifiable evidence, stating that such actions exacerbate Pak-India relations.
By defending the Two-Nation Theory, Asim Munir sent a clear message that Pakistan’s identity is non-negotiable. He urged young officers to stay committed to the ideals of Pakistan and uphold the sacrifices made by their forefathers.
