WEBDEK: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday, in a press conference in Islamabad, has strongly denied any Pakistani involvement in the recent Pahalgam attack, saying that Pakistan is a peaceful country and supports an independent investigation.

Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan has no link to the Pahalgam attack. He assured that Pakistan is ready to fully cooperate with any international organization that wishes to investigate the matter. “Pakistan is committed to peace and will never compromise on its sovereignty,” he added.

The Interior Minister accused India’s intelligence agency RAW of being behind terrorist activities in Pakistan. He said that India’s growing discomfort with Pakistan’s economic progress is pushing it to create false stories like the Pahalgam incident. “India cannot tolerate Pakistan’s development and is trying to damage our image by staging fake dramas,” Naqvi said.

Mohsin Naqvi further revealed that there is no difference between the banned organization BLA and India’s RAW, calling them “two sides of the same coin.” He disclosed that in the past three days alone, Pakistani forces have recovered seven improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and are closely monitoring the activities of the BLA.

Regarding the tragic attack on the Jafer Express, Naqvi demanded an independent and transparent investigation. He emphasized that just as Pakistan seeks clarity on internal incidents, it also wants the world to know the real truth behind the Pahalgam attack.

Mohsin Naqvi made it clear that Pakistan welcomes neutral and fair inquiries. He said Pakistan is determined to expose India’s conspiracies and show the world that Pakistan had no part in the Pahalgam incident.

He ended his statement by saying that Pakistan believes in peaceful coexistence but will never compromise when it comes to its national security and dignity.
