Ramadan timings for Sindh schools announced

KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department on Tuesday announced revised school timings for the holy month of Ramadan. Every year, the federal and provincial governments announce reduced school timings for Ramadan.

The regular school timings from Monday to Thursday have been reduced to 1:30PM, and for Fridays, they have been reduced to 11:30am. For double-shift primary schools, the timings have been reduced to 11:30am from Monday to Friday.

The revised school timings by the Sindh government are mandatory to follow for all public sector schools across the province, including schools in Karachi. As of yet, the Sindh government has not issued any notification regarding the Eid holidays.

Ramadan timings for Punjab Schools

Earlier, the government of Punjab also announced the Ramadan timings for schools operating under the provincial government. The first shift at Punjab’s double-shift schools runs from 8:30am to 12:30pm, while the second shift runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. On Fridays, the schedule is modified to run from 2:30pm to 5:00 pm.
