In the second match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Quetta Gladiators has defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 80 runs on Saturday in the Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi match.

In the match being played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Quetta Gladiators’ batsmen proved Zalmi’s Babar Azam decision to bowl first fatal and made a score of 216 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Gladiator’s captain Saud Shakeel played a brilliant innings of 59 runs, Finn Allen was dismissed for 53 and Hassan Nawaz for 41 runs, while Rilee Rossouw remained not out with 21 runs and Kusal Mendis with 35 runs.

Ali Raza, Alzarri Joseph and Sufiyan Muqeem took one wicket each for Peshawar Zalmi.

In pursuit of the target, the Peshawar Zalmi team could not perform well and the entire team was all out for 136 runs in the 16th over.

Saim Ayub was the top scorer with 50 runs. Hussain Talat played an innings of 35, Mitchell Owen played an innings of 31 runs and Muhammad Haris scored 13 runs, while no other player could even enter double figures.

Quetta Gladiator’s Abrar Ahmed took 4 wickets, Usman Tariq and Mohammad Amir took two wickets each, while Kyle Jamieson took one wicket.

It should be noted that in the opening match of the PSL yesterday, defending champions Islamabad United easily defeated Lahore Qalandars by 8 wickets.
