LAHORE (Azaad English): The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) launched a new real-time tracking system to to improve the handling of complaints made through the 15 police helpline.The new system puts emphasis on both quick resolutions and transparent processes which allow citizen users to monitor their complaint development.

The new real-time tracking system allows citizens to monitor the progress of their complaints filed through Virtual Women Police Station, Virtual Center for Child Safety, and Virtual Center for Minorities at their convenience. The complaint tracking system will generate personalized logins which enable individual complainants to access their case updates through the programmed system. After dissatisfaction with their complaint response they can provide feedback to ask for additional measures.

The tracking system portal requires citizens to use it for obtaining prompt and effective responses from authorities. The government works to advance technological enforcement services and public safety in Punjab through this implementation.

By monitoring complaints in real time this system aims to establish trust between citizens and police forces by preventing any complaint postponements or dismissals. The system enables officials to track complaint resolution times while maintaining accountability of responsible departments that show any indication of delays.

The digital platform stands vital for marginalized populations consisting of minority groups and women since they frequently encounter barriers when seeking justice. Through its user-friendly system the Punjab administration aims to simplify citizen access to help along with time-sensitive support.

Punjab government has also launched the Free Solar Panel Scheme to help residents reduce their electricity costs.
