WEBDESK (Azaad English): Ranveer Allahbadia known professionally as Beer Biceps received authorization from the Supreme Court to keep broadcasting his podcast ‘The Ranveer Show’. The Supreme Court authorised his podcast but implemented rigorous rules after viewers complained about his statements on India’s Got Latent.
His broadcasting activities received a court order for suspension because of comments he made on India’s Got Latent which enraged viewers. The judge at the hearing explained that content creators maintain freedom of speech yet their liberties have specific boundaries.
The judicial authority made clear to content creators that they need to adhere to all ethical norms and legal requirements while working on their materials.
Ranveer needs to present a documented promise through which he affirms the compliance of his upcoming podcast episodes with moral and decent standards. His lawyers maintained that his show provides all his income which enables him to support 280 staff members. The content value of The Ranveer Show includes politically significant interviews conducted with both professional athletes and spiritual figures.
The court gave him permission to return yet established further limitations for his activities. The court forbade him to mention ‘India’s Got Latent’ on his podcast and he must remain in India throughout the investigation period.
Ranveer Allahbadia Apology
Ranveer Allahbadia disclosed through Instagram that he received death threats because of his controversial statements about parents on India’s Got Latent. The criticism forced him to release a public statement where he recognised his remarks as cruel and unbecoming of proper conduct. Through public statements Ranveer informed his audience that his team along with himself fully supported the law enforcement agencies.
He also posted a statement saying,: My team and I are cooperating with police and all other authorities”.
The court restrictions force Ranveer Allahbadia to restructure his content while preventing himself from breaking any imposed guidelines.
