LAHORE (Azaad English): Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz has launched the Free Solar Panel Scheme to help residents reduce their electricity costs. The initiative aims to provide relief to people struggling with high power bills while also promoting clean energy in the province.
Who Can Apply for Free Solar Panel Scheme?
The scheme exists to assist residential electricity users who utilize less than 200 units within a month. A total of 861 thousand consumers have sought participation in the program. As stated by the Punjab government there will be 94,483 solar systems installed throughout the first phase of the year.
How Free Solar Panel Scheme Will Work?
