Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, has warned that if she does not get to meet Imran tomorrow (Tuesday), she will stage a protest outside Adiala Jail.
In this regard, the party lawmakers have been instructed to remain in Islamabad in case a protest is called.
Some party members, including Aliya Hamza, have agreed to join the protest. However, according to reports, some leaders within the party are not in favour of holding a protest outside the jail.
Is the protest outside Adiala Jail confirmed?
The final decision regarding the protest will be made in a core committee meeting.
In other news, Azam Swati has revealed that the party has convinced Imran Khan to hold talks with the establishment.
Swati emphasised that this move should not be seen as a sign of weakness, but of strength.
Addressing Imran Khan’s followers, he assured them that Khan will never bow before anyone.
He also urged people not to interpret these talks as some kind of deal.
It is pertinent to mention that the establishment has consistently maintained that it will not engage with politicians or political parties and insists that political matters should be resolved among the political players themselves.
