Although the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not officially announced the venue for the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, report suggests that the league is coming back to Pakistan.

Amid the tensions with India, there were plans for the PSL to be held in Dubai, with all the foreign players sent to the United Arab Emirates. Later, it was reported that the PSL was suspended.

“The decision to postpone has been taken under advice received from the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif who has kept in view the reckless aggression from India that has escalated to a point where national attention and sentiments are rightly focused on the courageous efforts of the Armed Forces of Pakistan who are vociferously upholding the sovereignty of our beloved Pakistan”, it was announced.

The statement added, “The PCB recognises the efforts and support of its partners, franchises, participating players, broadcasters, sponsors, and organisers in having ensured the smooth conduct of the tournament thus far, however; cricket while being a unifying force and a source of joy, must take a respectful pause when the country is facing such callous opposition.”

Now, after the announcement of the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, it is being reported that PSL 2025 matches will continue in Rawalpindi.

PSL administration has started working on gathering all six teams in Islamabad, according to a report.

It is pertinent to mention only eight matches are left of PSL 2025.

According to scoreboard, Quetta Gladiators are at number one, Karachi Kings are in second place, Islamabad United sit in third position, Lahore Qalandars are in fourth place, Peshawar Zalmi are in fifth place, and Multan Sultans have been eliminated.
