WEBDESK: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will begin operating its pre-Hajj flights service for 2025 on April 29. The special flight sequences will operate until June 1 to carry over more than 56,000 Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
PIA has organised 280 scheduled flights for this pre-Hajj flights period. National carrier PIA carries 20,000 government scheme Hajj pilgrims and 36,000 pilgrims through private arrangements among its total 56,000 flyers. Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 aircraft will be the choice of aircraft for the airline to maintain a flawless and comfortable experience throughout travel.
The scheduled flight schedule for post-Hajj pilgrim returns will operate from June 12 to July 10 to evacuate Muslim worshipers safely back to their countries.
The pre-Hajj flight operations conducted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs between Pakistan and the Hajj territory will be for a period of 30 days. For this upcoming year the government of Pakistan will handle the Hajj journey of 89,000 pilgrims among 179,210 total participants.
PIA together with Saudi Airlines and three other airlines will conduct the transportation of Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia under the Hajj 2025 program. The complete flight schedule will become accessible to pilgrims through an April 10 release date so they can organize their journey properly.
The Saudi authorities will finalise their Hajj season preparations to enhance service quality for worldwide visitors.
