WEBDESK: Peshawar Zalmi has officially launched its anthem for HBL PSL 10, just days before the tournament starts on April 11. The anthem, accompanied by a short motivational film, features star actress Mahira Khan and is sung by popular voices Mustafa Zahid and Aima Baig.
The anthem video shows glimpses of Peshawar Zalmi players, including captain Babar Azam and rising star Saim Ayub, training hard and meeting fans. The goal is to energise supporters and build excitement for the upcoming cricket season.
Earlier in April, the team also released a Pashto anthem for the local community, sung by Rahim Shah, which was filmed at the newly built Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar.
On the same day, Peshawar Zalmi also released their jersey for PSL 10. The poster featured Babar Azam, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris and England’s Tom Kohler-Cadmore. The jersey was designed by women from Haripur under the ‘Dil Se Ba-Ikhtiar’ initiative which aims to empower women through vocational training. The jersey symbolises strength, pride, and inclusion.
