WEBDESK: The United Nations (UN) International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has confirmed after speaking with Iranian officials that Israel’s recent airstrikes did not damage the nuclear facility in the city of Isfahan.
According to the agency, the Fordow uranium enrichment plant has also remained untouched so far.
Reports suggest that Israeli warplanes targeted the Natanz nuclear facility in a wave of strikes early Friday morning. However, the IAEA said there has been no rise in radiation levels at the site.
The nuclear plant in the southern city of Bushehr was also not affected, the agency added.
