Gold prices in Pakistan continue to witness a significant rising trend, with the precious metal reaching Rs320,800 per tola across the country on Thursday.

All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) has revealed that the gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs 1,800 today while the price of 10-gram 24K gold also saw a notable rise, climbing by Rs 1,543 to settle at Rs 275,034.

Furthermore, the price of 10 gram 22k gold increased by Rs1,423 with the total price reaching Rs252,123.

The rising trajectory of gold prices in Pakistan is mostly due to increasing international gold prices. The global gold bullion market saw a $12 rise, with the price per ounce reaching $3,050.

On the same hand, the silver prices witnessed a slight decrease in prices with 24K silver dropping by Rs31 and its total price settling at Rs3,524.

Increasing uncertainties, including US tariffs on Mexico, Canada and rising geopolitical tensions in Middle East have led investors to practice precaution.

Previously, gold prices jumped by Rs1,650 on Wednesday reaching Rs319,000 per tola yesterday.

Gold prices in Pakistan have witnessed a surge as price of gold was Rs306,000 per tola on March 11.
