A case has been registered against YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, known as “Ducky Bhai,” after a video he posted on Instagram went viral.
In the video, he can be seen driving a car with his feet on the motorway.
Being one of the most-followed vloggers in Pakistan, his actions were considered extremely careless by his fans as well. The incident has led to a formal case being filed against him for irresponsible driving.
Despite backlash, he did not remove the video from his account.
Details of the case against Ducky Bhai
The case was registered in Rawalpindi.
According to First Information Report (FIR), the suspect had committed vandalism against whom the prosecution has filed the case.
The case against Ducky Bhai was registered under Article 67 (driving recklessly or dangerously) of the National Highway Safety Ordinance (NHSO) 2000, and Section 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
A spokesperson for the National Highways & Motorway Police said: “The video in question clearly shows a driver violating traffic rules and endangering not only his own life but also that of others. We have taken serious notice of this violation and are proceeding with legal action.”
The Motorway Police have also released a video message on their social media platforms to raise awareness about the dangers of such stunts and to warn others against imitating similar behaviour.
