DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held his first-ever press conference alongside other army senior officials after Pak-India ceasefire that took place on Saturday.

Pakistan Armed Forces have delivered the promise made to the nation: DG ISPR

In the start, DG ISPR said the Pakistan Army fulfilled the promise made to the nation, adding that the army’s thoughts and prayers are with the families of martyrs.

“Pakistan had vowed justice and retribution for the reprehensible Indian military aggression and brutal killing of our civilians”, he added.

He also commended the youth of Pakistan for standing by the army.

DG ISPR thanks Pakistani media for becoming part of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos

Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif also thanked the mainstream media for working tirelessly to report the happenings to the public.

He pointed out how the media stood against Indian propaganda and presented the facts.

“We are also thankful to the political parties who put aside their differences for Pakistan,” he said.

Any threat to our sovereignty will meet a decisive and comprehensive response: DG ISPR

After the ceasefire, the DG ISPR vowed to protect the sovereignty of Pakistan and warned the neighboring country against any adventure.

He clarified that any threat from India would be met with a comprehensive response.

DG ISPR said that Pakistan targeted the area from where it was attacked, not civilians.

He also stated that 26 military targets, along with facilities in India used to target Pakistani citizens and entities involved in fomenting terrorism in Pakistan, were hit.

“The targets included air force and aviation bases at Suratgarh, Sirsa, Adampur, Bhuj, Naliya, Bathinda, Barnala, Halwara, Avantipur, Srinagar, Jammu, Mamun, Ambala, Udhampur, and Pathankot — all of which sustained major damage.”

The Indian requested ceasefire after Pakistan’s counter strikes: DG ISPR

The DG ISPR said that India requested a ceasefire after Pakistan hit back and attacked Indian air bases.

He said, “On the night of May 6 and 7, after those dastardly and cowardly attacks were made, Indians requested and Pakistan gave a very clear response that we will communicate back only after we have given the response that this act deserves.”

“So on May 10, after the response and retribution, and on the request and intervention of international interlocutors, we responded to the already made request of the Indians,” he added.

The military spokesperson added that peace between India and Pakistan would always allude until the resolution of the Kashmir issue.

‘We have no Indian pilot in our custody’, confirms DG ISPR

Setting the record straight, the DG ISPR said Pakistan does not have any Indian pilot in its custody.

He called it fake news that spread on social media after Pakistan responded to Indian aggression.

It is pertinent to mention that several viral videos on social media falsely claimed that Shivani Singh of the IAF had been arrested after her jet crashed in Pakistan.

Pakistan Navy official briefed the nation on the naval situation during the air strike

Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz said that ‘INS Vikrant’ was under constant watch, forces were ready to respond to any past maritime aggression.

“There was a hype about INS Vikrant approaching Karachi. We were keeping a very close eye on the activities at sea, we were monitoring it from day one”, he said.

The official said that Karachi was fully prepared to defend itself in case of an attack from the Indian Navy or an air strike.

Using satellite images and slides, the official briefly briefed the nation.

He also mentioned that all ports were operational throughout the time.

“Next time when you think of Pakistan Navy and the silent guy please remember that with the help of Allah Almighty, our actions will always speak louder than words”, he concluded.

Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Aura­n­g­zeb Ahmed briefed the nation

Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Aura­n­g­zeb Ahmed , the deputy chief of operations of Pakistan Air Force said drones were used to attack Pakistan.

Right after introducing himself, he said, ” I will pick up from where I left a day before yesterday, PAF vs IAF: 6-0″

According to him, PAF’s reach extended to Delhi.

“The PAF’s response has strengthened Pakistan’s national security and our enduring commitment for stability and peace. But I have no doubt that the real cerebrum behind the aim and design was the Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmad Babar,” he said.

Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb, while describing Pakistan’s response to the Indian Air Force, said the PAF’s response was based “on the time and place of own choosing”, displaying “bold, aggressive and unwavering resolve of the brave military leadership”.
