Former cricket team captain, Babar Azam has performed Umrah with his brother, Safeer Azam ahead of the team’s tour of New Zealand.
Babar’s brother posted a video alongside him breaking fast in Makkah. In another post on Instagram, Safeer posed for a picture with Babar.
Mir Hamza was also seen alongside the brothers.
Last year, Babar also performed Umrah in the holy month of Ramadan.
Pakistan will play five T20 matches and three ODIs against New Zealand this month.
Is Babar Azam included in the squad for New Zealand?
It is pertinent to mention that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did not include Babar Azam and other top players including current captain Mohammad Rizwan in the T20 squad for New Zealand. However, in the ODI matches against New Zealand Babar Azam will be seen on the field.
Salman Agha is the new captain of T20.
