Pakistani actress Amar Khan has revealed that she received extremely vulgar and abusive messages and explicit pictures from Indian users after she expressed support for Pakistan during the recent Pak-India tensions following the Pahalgam attack.

“These are not just random people—these are radicals with a clear agenda,” she said.

Speaking on a podcast, Amar strongly criticised the Indian government for repeatedly provoking Pakistan. She praised the Pakistan Army, saying, “We are guarded by the best armed force in the world.”

She opened up about the mental health toll such tensions bring, especially when Indian trolls went as far as labelling her a terrorist on social media. Amar called out the hypocrisy, reminding them: “It is funny when people call us terrorists, considering Pakistan has fought and suffered the most in the war against terrorism.”

Although Amar is not very active on social media, she said the cowardly attack by India left her unable to stay silent. “It was not just aggression—it was a direct hit at our peace, and I had to speak up.”

Amar Khan also shared that she had visited India during her university days, but she does not think about working in India.

She said, “Our dramas are watched and loved all over the world. With so much good work happening in Pakistan, there is no need to look across the border.”
