Senior Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed passed away on Wednesday after a long battle with kidney disease, his son Munir Ahmed confirmed.
Munir stated that his father had been unwell for an extended period, and further details about his funeral and burial will be shared later.
Expressing grief over his demise, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Ahmed’s passing marks the end of “a chapter of beautiful memories.” He described him as a wise and ideological parliamentary leader.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam also announced the passing of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed on its official Facebook account.
Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed sorrow over the demise of senior politician Hafiz Hussain Ahmed. He said that with his passing, a chapter of cherished memories has come to an end. He described Hafiz Hussain Ahmed as an astute, quick-witted, and ideological parliamentary leader.

Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had served as both a Senator and a Member of the National Assembly.
