Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has said that he shares a great bond with his six-year-old son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, whom he co-parents with his ex-wife Sania Mirza.
In an interview, he said that he tries to visit his son in Dubai twice a month and talks to him every day.
He also revealed that Izhaan calls him bro and they both are very friendly.
Shoaib Malik said his son enjoys playing football.
Sania Mirza often posts pictures with her son. Recently, she replaced Shoaib’s name on their house nameplate with her son’s.
Shoaib Malik announced his marriage to Pakistan actress, Sana Javed last year later Sania Mirza’s family revealed that the Indian athlete had taken khula from Malik.
The news came as a shock to everyone. It is pertinent to mention that neither Sania nor Shoaib has ever talked about their divorce or the actual reason behind it.
Why did Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza get divorced?
In 2023, there were rumours that things were not good between Sania and Shoaib Malik and after his marriage to Sana many people speculated that Sania probably left Shoaib because of his extramarital affair because that year he met the actress at a Pakistani TV show.
Malik and Mirza got married in 2010 and welcomed their son in 2018. The couple used to live in Dubai.
Meanwhile, Sana married Pakistani singer and actor Umair Jaswal in 2020.
Shoaib‘s marriage to Sana is his third. He was first married to Ayesha Siddiqui, but they divorced in 2010 after eight years together.
