WEBDESK: Famous musician Ali Zafar has spoken out following a series of blasts heard near his home in Lahore, believed to be the result of Indian drone attacks. The artist shared his distressing experience on X (formerly Twitter), urging global leaders to intervene and prevent further escalation between nuclear-armed nations.
“We just heard blasts from our home,” Zafar wrote, expressing his shock and concern. The blasts, reportedly caused by drone strikes, have heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, both of which possess nuclear weapons. Zafar took to social media to emphasize the catastrophic consequences of a potential war between the two nations.
“Such provocations, risking innocent lives, are highly condemnable.” he further added.
From what I understand, the blasts were to intercept drones from across the border.
