WEBDESK: Indian FM Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is facing intense criticism and online mockery after video edits of him walking in slow motion, complete with laser eyes and dramatic music, but failed foreign policy. The reels has instead turned into meme content across social media platforms, with Indian citizens themselves calling it cringeworthy and out of touch.

The clip, resembling a “sigma male” edit more than serious diplomacy, shows the minister styled like an action hero rather than a statesman. Many on social media are asking whether India’s foreign policy is being handled by influencers instead of officials. “Walking with Black chasma on foreign soil is now foreign policy.,” one user wrote.

The backlash reflects growing frustration inside India over the government’s diplomatic performance on the global stage. In contrast, Pakistan has received clear and public support from allies like China, Turkey, and others, especially in recent India Pakistan conflict. These nations have openly supported Pakistan’s position, while India’s dramatic displays have failed to translate into real-world influence or meaningful alliances.

India, despite its numerous foreign visits and public relations campaigns, could not manage to secure such open support from any major ally.

Dhruv Rathee, famous Indian YouTuber also mocked Indian FM Subrahmanyam Jaishankar diplomatic style, saying that walking around in black sunglasses on foreign soil has now become India’s version of foreign policy. He criticised Indian FM Subrahmanyam Jaishankar how focuses more on photo sessions, dramatic entrances, and personal image building rather than serious diplomacy.

Earlier, Indian MP Congress Member of Parliament Mahua Moitra has fiercely criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy, calling it a complete failure after recent remarks made by former US President Donald Trump.

Trump, while speaking at an event, reportedly claimed, “I stopped the war. I love Pakistan. I stopped the war between Pakistan and India.” His comments quickly went viral, stirring anger and debate across India.

Mahua Moitra tweet openly questioned Modi’s silence and the credibility of his government’s foreign policy decisions, especially concerning Pakistan.
