WEBDESK (Azaad English): A police complaint targets social media personalities Rajab Butt, Haider Shah and Man Dogar and seven unknown suspects for forcing threats on tiktoker Umar Fayyaz Butt.
Allegations in FIR
The complaint reported to the police stated that Man Dogar used profane words and threatened Umar Fayyaz Butt during a TikTok live broadcast.
Rajab Butt accompanied Man Dogar and Haider Shah to Umar’s residence using several vehicles in order to threaten the victim person-to-person. During the incident the group showed armed personnel including men with Kalashnikovs to threaten the man.
The police department filed the formal complaint using laws that pertain to criminal intimidation and threats.
Police Investigation
The investigation process is currently being carried out by authorities. Law enforcement personnel have started their investigation by gathering evidence through TikTok digital record and security footage obtained from the scene where the incident took place. A representative from the police force guaranteed legal prosecution would stem from the investigation findings.
Ongoing Conflict Exists Between Rajab Butt and Umar Fayyaz Butt
Rajab Butt has previously found himself in several controversies. His dispute with Umar Fayyaz Butt intensified after Umar released information about Rajab’s relatives while streaming on TikTok. During his defense he supported his family position while he charged Umar with his brother Ali Butt for spreading false information about multiple female individuals. He warned both Umar and Ali through a threat which stated that he would reveal their personal secrets in case they did not cease their attacks against his family.
Previous Cases Against Rajab Butt
Rajab has encountered legal difficulties during his past. Law enforcement officials arrested Rajab Butt during last year for illegal possession of a lion cub and weapon display which led to his temporary bail.
Police filed a second case against Rajab Butt for his video activities which scoffed at Islamic prayer (Namaz). Public anger after the incident resulted in official charges filed at Karachi. Immediately afterward Rajab issued a public apology and then he met with scholar experts to explain his position.
Recent events have heightened public attention on Rajab Butt because authorities are investigating the latest incident he is involved in.
