WEBDESK: Pakistan’s Hajj 2025 operations are set to begin tomorrow, Tuesday, as the government prepares for the pilgrimage of over 68,000 Pakistanis. This year’s operation will see flights operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from various cities across the country to Saudi Arabia.

As per details, pre-Hajj operations at Islamabad International Airport will commence tomorrow night. The first flight, PK-713 of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), will depart at 5:00 AM tomorrow, carrying over 300 pilgrims to Medina for Pakistan’s Hajj 2025 operations.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has put in place a comprehensive Pakistan’s Hajj 2025 operations to ensure the comfort and safety of the pilgrims, including vaccination requirements and airport assistance.

The flight will be seen off by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yusuf, along with the Saudi Ambassador and other officials.

Under the “Road to Makkah” initiative, pilgrims are required to arrive at the airport four hours prior to their departure, according to the Airport Manager.

Special counters for Saudi immigration have been set up at the airport in connection with Pakistan’s Hajj 2025 operations.

Over 100 flights from Islamabad will transport more than 28,000 pilgrims to Jeddah and Medina for Hajj 2025 rituals.

Pakistan’s Hajj 2025 operation includes necessary precautions, with health and safety protocols in place, especially considering the ongoing health concerns.

As such, it has been made mandatory for pilgrims to get required vaccinations and obtain a yellow card from Haji camp before departing for Saudia Arabia. As per reports, no one would be allowed to enter Saudia Arabia without a valid vaccination certificate.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said that all arrangements for Pakistan’s Hajj 2025 operations have been completed and first flight from Pakistan will depart on April 29. The ministry said that around 89,000 Hajj pilgrims will be taken to Makkah and Madinah under government scheme.
