As of Tuesday, conditions are sunny with no precipitation expected. Humidity levels stand at 44 per cent, and winds are light at 5 mph.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun due to the high temperatures.

The weather is expected to remain dry, with no rain forecasted for the day.

Pakistan weather update: Islamabad

Islamabad is facing hazy weather with morning showers today.

The daytime temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C, with winds blowing from the south-southwest at 10-15 km/h.

There is a 50 per cent chance of rain during the day. Humidity levels are at 35 per cent, and the UV index is extreme, so residents are advised to take precautions against sun exposure.

Sunrise occurred at 04:57, and sunset will be at 19:20.

Tonight, the weather will remain generally clear but hazy, with temperatures dropping to a low of 27°C.

Winds will shift to the east-southeast at 10 to 15 km/h, and the chance of rain is minimal at 3 per cent. Humidity will rise to 56 per cent.

The UV index will be at 0, indicating no risk. Moonrise is expected at 23:43, and moonset will occur at 10:30. The moon is currently in the waning gibbous phase.

Residents can expect a mix of hazy conditions and mild weather throughout the day and night.

Islamabad weather update: Extended update

Islamabad is set to experience a week of hot and predominantly sunny weather, with temperatures ranging between highs of 39°C and lows of 26°C.

The week begins with clear skies on Wednesday, June 18, as temperatures peak at 39°C during the day and drop to 29°C at night.

Winds will blow from the southwest at 16 km/h, and there is no chance of rain. 

Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20 will follow a similar pattern, with daytime highs of 40°C and nighttime lows of 29°C.

Winds will shift slightly to the south and south-southwest at 15 km/h, and rain remains unlikely, except for a slight 6 per cent chance on Friday.

By Saturday, June 21, skies will turn mostly sunny, with temperatures cooling slightly to 39°C during the day and 26°C at night.

A 24 per cent chance of rain is expected, with winds coming from the south-southeast at 16 km/h. 

Sunday, June 22 will bring morning thunderstorms, with a 57 per cent chance of rain and a noticeable drop in daytime temperatures to 34°C.

The following days, Monday, June 23 to Wednesday, June 25, will see partly cloudy skies and occasional morning showers.

Daytime temperatures will hover around 35-36°C, while nighttime temperatures will stay at 26-27°C.

Winds will remain steady from the southeast at 15 km/h, with rain chances ranging from 24 per cent to 48 per cent.

Residents should prepare for persistent heat and occasional rainfall, particularly towards the weekend.

Pakistan weather update: Karachi

Karachi faces a hot and hazy day on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching a high of 99°F.

The weather was a mix of sunshine and clouds, accompanied by winds blowing from the west-southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Humidity levels stood at 49 per cent, and the UV index was extreme, prompting residents to take precautions against sun exposure. Sunrise occurred at 5:41 am, and sunset was at 7:22 pm.

As night fell, the weather remained hazy, with temperatures dropping to around 85°F. Skies were cloudy early in the evening but were expected to clear later.

Winds continued from the west at 10 to 20 mph, and humidity rose to 72 per cent. The UV index dropped to 0, indicating no risk.

Moonrise was not visible, while moonset occurred at 11:03 am. The moon was in the waning gibbous phase.

Residents can expect persistent heat and hazy conditions, with slight relief during the night.

Karachi weather update: Extended update

Karachi is set to experience a week of hot and humid weather, with daytime temperatures hovering around 94-96°F and nighttime temperatures remaining steady at 85°F.

The city will see partly cloudy skies throughout the week, with minimal chances of rain.

The week begins on Wednesday, June 18, with a high of 96°F and a low of 85°F. Winds will blow from the west-southwest at 20 mph, and there is only a 5 per cent chance of rain.

Similar conditions will persist on Thursday, June 19, with slightly stronger winds at 21 mph and a 7 per cent chance of rain.

From Friday, June 20 to Sunday, June 22, temperatures will remain consistent, with highs of 94°F and lows of 85°F. Winds will gradually decrease from 18 mph to 17 mph, and rain chances will stay low, ranging from 7 per cent to 10 per cent.

The heatwave will continue into next week, with Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24 seeing highs of 95°F and lows of 85°F.

Winds will slow further to 15-16 mph, and rain chances will remain below 12 per cent.

By Wednesday, June 25, there will be a slight increase in rain probability to 22 per cent, though skies will stay partly cloudy.
