WEBDESK: The group A match of the Champions Trophy between Pakistan and Bangladesh faces the risk of being washed out due to rain as the toss got delayed on Thursday, 27th February.

Pakistan and Bangladesh, coming off of two successive defeats, will look to battle it out in Rawalpindi at the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.

The upcoming match has been delayed by consistent rain and the covers are on the pitch, with the PAK vs BAN toss yet to take place.

While there is no moving on to the semi finals for either side at the tournament, there is still plenty to play for. With no wins for either side in their whole campaign, players will be looking to end their campaign on a high. Pakistan will be looking to secure a huge victory in front of their home fans to provide some sense of security for the future.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh will have a point to prove to themselves – that they belong to this category of teams in such high-level competitions.

With both teams eliminated, they’ll look to play for pride in a dead rubber match.
