Pakistan Army on Tuesday identified and targeted another Indian drone which was in violation of Pakistani airspace in Satwal Sector, Azad Kashmir.

Earlier, the security forces had shot down an Indian quadcopter that violated Pakistan’s airspace along the Line of Control (LoC) on Monday, April 29 in the Manawar sector of Bhimbir district.

According to sources, the drone was being used for surveillance activities when it crossed into Pakistan’s border. The Pakistan army responded swiftly and took down the drone.

“The timely action by Pakistan Army thwarted the enemy’s nefarious attempt to spy across the border,” the sources said, adding that the incident once again demonstrated the Army’s “professionalism, readiness, and defensive preparedness.”

As of now, there has been no official statement from the Indian authorities regarding their illegal drones being shot down by the Pakistan armed forces.

Pakistan Army has shot down two Indian drones in a single day (April 29) showcasing the high preparedness of the security forces.

Security sources revealed that the drone which was shot down in Satwal sector along the LoC is a “Phantom 4.”

Experts have suggested that irresponsible actions by the Indian Army are leading to further tension in the situation.
