Set to premiere in cinemas around Pakistan during Eid-ul-Adha, Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed’s much awaited movie Love Guru is likely to be celebrated in the first week of June.
Mahira Khan said earlier today that the teaser for the film will debut during the Lahore Qalandars vs Karachi Kings game taking place at Gaddafi Stadium.

The trailer is scheduled to be released during the innings break.
Mahira Khan has arrived in Lahore and will be physically present at the stadium for the launch.

The upcoming release date has produced growing interest so the film stands as a top anticipated project of 2025. Fans are really excited to see them both sharing screen together.

Earlier this year, the poster for Love Guru was released.
The film is directed by the visionary Nadeem Baig, the creative force behind the phenomenally successful Pakistani films, Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani.
Love Guru will mark Mahira’s return to the big screen after three years. Previously, she starred in The Legend of Maula Jatt (2022), a reboot of the Punjabi-language film following the same eponymous character.
Maula Jatt movie also has Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi in lead roles, the film grossed $13.8 million worldwide and became the highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time. According to Screen Daily, a British film publication, it broke records at the UK box office, becoming the highest-grossing picture from South Asia at the time.
Mahira Khan, on the other hand, made her appearance in ‘Parey Hut Love’, ‘Manto’, ‘Superstar’, ‘Verna’, ‘Raees’, Ho Maan Jahan’ and ‘Bin Roye’ (alongside Humayun Saeed).
