WEBDESK: False reports have surfaced online claiming that Pakistan is preparing to take action against Iran, with misleading claims about PAF JF-17 jets flying missions near the border. Let’s put it bluntly this is nothing but a failed Indian propaganda stunt, and it deserves to be called out for what it is: a desperate lie.
𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚#Pakistan has almost agreed to provide Active support to US for strikes on #Iran. @DGPR_PAF may itself participate in Hitting #Tehran.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) routinely conducts Combat Air Patrols (CAPs) a standard military practice to secure national airspace during regional tensions. The sighting of JF-17 Thunder jets over Karachi was part of Pakistan’s own air security operations not part of any hostile plan against a brotherly country.
Pakistan and Iran enjoy a deep, brotherly relationship built on shared history, culture, and trust. In recent regional developments, Pakistan stood firmly with Iran, actively advocating Iran’s position at the United Nations and pushing alongside China and Russia for international accountability.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned what he called an ‘unprovoked’ attack by Israel on Iran. Moreover, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has strongly condemned Israel’s reported attack on Iran, describing it as an unjustified and blatant breach of Iran’s sovereignty. In a statement posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Dar denounced the strike and expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with Iran.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a press release on Friday, according to which, Pakistan Condemns the Israeli attacks as a blatant breach of the United Nations Charter and international law. The statement further highlighted that under Article 51 of the UN Charter, the Islamic Republic of Iran has the full right to defend itself against such aggression.
These fake claims are being spread by frustrated Indian social media networks, who are rattled by Pakistan’s growing diplomatic role especially as India finds itself increasingly isolated. The attempt to create distrust between Pakistan and Iran is not just dishonest it’s laughably transparent.
Pakistan’s foreign policy is driven by principle, not pressure. We do not act on anyone else’s behalf. Pakistan stands by its allies, protects its sovereignty, and rejects all malicious rumours aimed at damaging ties with its neighbours.
Pakistan will never act against Iran. These fabrications are a reflection of Indian insecurity, not Pakistani policy.
