WEBDESK (Azaad English): United Motors has announced the launch of their Jetour SUVs in Pakistan, with the official arrival on February 20th, 2025.
Jetour, a sub-brand of the Chinese automaker Chery, specialises in manufacturing SUVs and crossovers. The company will introduce two new models in Pakistan, the Jetour Dashing and the X70 Plus.
Both models will be locally assembled and will feature a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine. The Dashing will be a five-seater SUV while the X70 Plus will be a seven-seater SUV.
The Jetour Dashing features automatic LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED rear taillights. It boasts a dual 10.25-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an intelligent car voice command system, wireless charging, and a multifunctional leather steering wheel.
Safety features include up to six airbags, lane change assist, near cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a 360-degree parking assist system.
Other features include synthetic leather seats, a panoramic glass sunroof, and an electric tailgate. It is powered by a 1.5-liter Kunpeng turbo engine producing 115 kW with an average fuel economy of 7.8 liters per 100 km.
The new Jetour Dashing is priced at Rs.8,295,000 (ex-factory), excluding withholding tax. Bookings for the Jetour SUVs have started, with a booking price of Rs.2,000,000.
As for the Jetour X70 Plus, it will have automatic LED headlights, and LED daytime running headlights. It includes keyless entry, and a massive 25-inch touch screen infotainment system. Its 19-inch alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof contribute to its premium look. Ambient lighting and leather upholstery enhance the overall luxury feel of the Jetour SUVs.
The X70 Plus is also equipped with the same 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, producing 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It shares the same fuel economy as Dashing, approximately 12.8km/L.
The safety features include Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), a 360-degree parking assist system and multiple airbags.
The new Jetour X70 Plus comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,495,000. Bookings for the Jetour SUVs have started, with a booking price of Rs. 2,000,000. The estimated delivery time is two months.
With their modern design and safety systems, the Jetour SUVs look set to make a big impact on the Pakistani SUV market.
