In a shocking development, videos made by the martyred Palestine Red Crescent (PRCS) medics in Gaza emerged on social media proving Israeli forces deliberately attacked them on March 23.
Previously, nine Gaza paramedics went missing in Rafah, Gaza after they rushed to help recently bombarded civilian areas. Israeli forces obstructed the path of international teams in reaching the area where the first responders went missing.
“In the early hours of Sunday, 23 March, our Palestine Red Crescent colleagues were entering the area of al-Hashaashin, Rafah to save lives and came under fire,” stated the spokesperson of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
Following the attack, PRCS sent three more ambulances to help the injured civilians who also went missing.
According to Al Jazeera, Israel has killed 30 PRC Gaza paramedics and first responders since October 7, 2023. It should be mentioned that these humanitarian workers are protected by international humanitarian law.
Earlier this week, a mass grave was discovered of the 15 people, including a UN worker, who were brutally killed and buried in a mass grave by Israeli occupation forces.
Israel usually justifies these killings by arguing that their forces could not identify the aid workers; however, the footages made by now deceased medics clearly show the emergency lights of ambulances working.
This means that the Israel, in a horrific manner, deliberately targeted those ambulances, killing and burying those Gaza paramedics.
Israel continued to block requests of multiple international organisations to allow them to enter that area until they finally did earlier this week.
Guardian reported that some of the bodies were found with their hands or legs tied and gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
Israel military in statement stated that their troops opened fire on ambulances who were running without headlights or emergency signals – a lie that has been exposed by recent video evidences.
“Ya Rab, forgive me… Mom, forgive me… I chose this path to save lives… they came for us—the Israeli army,” screamed the paramedic as breathed his last breaths.
Strong condemnations have been pouring from all around the world, particularly on social media.
