Webdesk: Azaad Fact Check has reported in its latest post that India’s representative at the United Nations (UN) described the country as law-abiding, but this is not so, the evidence suggests that India has been involved in terrorism activities internationally to a great extent, which is not only being questioned but is also a threat to global peace and stability.
The rise of the Hindutva ideology is not only endangering the internal diversities in India but also jeopardising world peace and human rights.
A report by Azaad Fact Check states that the Indian representative at the United Nations asserted that India is a law-abiding nation.
🚨 Azaad Fact Check has reported that India’s envoy to the United Nations claimed India is a law-abiding country. However, contrary to these claims, there is evidence suggesting that India has sponsored terrorism globally, posing a threat to international peace and prosperity.… https://t.co/jp3YHn9WKx pic.twitter.com/OuzMq3ia6G

But the report cites grave inconsistencies between this assertion and the real Indian activity, particularly its purported facilitating of terrorism and promulgation of the extremist notion of Hindutva.
India’s UN representative, ‘IndiaUNNewYork’ and ‘AmbHarishP’, made this claim during a recent session at the UN.
This statement was perceived as an effort to enhance the image of India on the international stage, especially in view of Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar bringing up the issue of Kashmir.
The report indicates that India has in the past been accused of supporting terrorism and conducting covert operations in neighbouring nations. Indian border policies and Indian position on terror have also raised issues among other countries and international organisations.
Azaad Fact Check also challenges the Indian claim to being a peace-loving and law-abiding nation and cites its rising domestic extremism. The spread of the Hindutva ideology has created serious risks, not just inside India, but also at the international level.
Minority communities such as Muslims, Christians, and Dalits continue to face rising violence and discrimination. Reports of communal attacks and human rights violations have raised alarm worldwide.
While India presents itself as a democratic and secular state that respects the law, various global reports and ground realities tell a different story.
Azaad Fact Check argues that India’s claim at the UN stands in sharp contrast to its actual behaviour.
The international community, the report says, must closely monitor India’s policies to ensure global peace and security.
