SHARJAH: An Indian man from Sharjah won the prize of 25 million dirhams (about 1 billion 90 million Pakistani rupees) in the Big Ticket draw held in Abu Dhabi in February 2025.
According to Gulf News, Ashik Patinharath won a prize of 25 million dirhams in the Abu Dhabi Big Ticket Series 271 draw. He became the sole owner of the jackpot, from India’s state of Kerala and 38-year-old Ashik Patton is from the real estate sector.
Patinharath said he had been trying his luck for 10 years, for which he would buy tickets on his own, bought about 100 tickets and now finally won the lottery for the first time, this time I had 6 tickets in the draw and I won the prize with ticket number 456808, which I bought online on January 29.
“Last month, the Big Ticket offered me six tickets in a thousand dirhams, and one of them was fortunate for me when the show hosts Richard and Bouchra told me about the good news on a phone call. I was with my family and it was a little suspicious for me, especially because I’m in the real estate sector and frauds,” he added.
It has been reported that Ashik Patinharath plans to set his step in the real estate industry with this money; his wife, 3 children, two sisters, and parents are also involved in the joy.
He said, “I always wanted to flourish in the real estate business and now I can fulfil my dreams, but I will continue to buy tickets in the future. People who have not succeeded so far, keep trying; one day they will be happy like me.”

The Big Ticket
The Big Win Contest exhilarating spin-the-wheel game—is back. Customers who purchase two or more cash tickets in one transaction between February 1 and 23 will have the chance to be selected to attend the live draw on March 3 and win guaranteed cash prizes ranging from Dh20,000 to Dh150,000.
The names of the four confirmed participants will be revealed on the Big Ticket website on March 1.
