‘If India attempts to stop Pakistan’s water, our forces will target and destroy that attempt’: security sources

In a significant development, security forces while talking to Azaad Digital have revealed that if and when India tries to build any facility to stop or divert water share of Pakistan under Indus Water Treaty, Pakistan will militarily take out that facility using its full combat power.

Security sources further stated that Pakistan has categorically declared that Water is “Vital National Interest” of Pakistan that means in simpler terms if India threatens Pakistan’s Vital National Interest then Pakistan can go to any limit including use of nuclear weapons.

“⁠Pakistan’s political and military leadership will not even think for a minute and strike the place which endangers provision of water to Pakistan,” stated the security sources.

India on Wednesday announced unilateral suspension of more than 60 years old Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan following attack in Indian occupied Kashmir on April 22 which killed 26 tourists.

On April 23, Modi-led government officially responded to the Kashmir attack by putting all the blame on Pakistan and announcing five actions against Pakistan.

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi cut short his visit to Saudi Arabia and chaired a meeting of Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS).
