Atlas Honda has unveiled its 2025 model of the Honda Pridor 100cc motorcycle, which features a new sticker design. Yes, you read that right—the only change in this new model is the sticker on the fuel tank and side covers.

This is a strategy Honda has employed for decades in Pakistan, keeping the bike’s engine and body virtually unchanged.

For those unfamiliar, the Honda Pridor is priced at Rs208,900. It has a fuel capacity of nearly 10 litres and offers a mileage of 45 kilometres per litre—a decent fuel efficiency, though not quite as economical as the Honda CD70.

While Honda promotes its Pridor as offering “Absolute Comfort, Maximum Efficiency – With Unmatched Economy & Style,” the reality is that there are no significant engine or structural upgrades compared to its previous models. The company continues to market the bike’s fuel efficiency, comfort, and sleek design, but, in reality, it’s the same old machine.

This approach has worked well for Honda in the past, as many local buyers prioritise fuel efficiency, resale value, and brand reliability over technological innovations.

However, a section of motorcycle enthusiasts is often left disappointed, hoping for mechanical improvements or features like an electric start or improved suspension, which the new Pridor still lacks.

Despite these minimal changes, the Honda Pridor remains a practical option for many riders due to its well-established reliability, low maintenance costs, and consistent performance.

Honda’s reputation in Pakistan, built over decades, continues to make it a preferred choice, even without major upgrades. For now, buyers looking for innovation will have to wait a bit longer, but for those seeking a dependable ride, the 2025 Honda Pridor still holds strong.
