Guru Randhawa suffers serious injury during shooting

Indian singer, Guru Randhawa has suffered a serious injury while shooting a Punjabi movie.

The singer shared his picture from the hospital bed in which scars are quite visible on his face.

However, he posed for a picture even in this condition for his fans. He wrote: “My first stunt, my first injury, but my spirit remains unbroken. A memory from the sets of Shaunki Sardar movie. Bahut mushkil kamm aa action waala (Action scenes are difficult) but will work hard for my audience.”

Not just fans, but many other stars from the film industry expressed their concern. Actor Mrunal Thakur expressed her shock and commented “Whatttt,” while veteran actor Anupam Kher offered his encouragement, writing, “You are the bestest. Get well soon.” Singer Mika Singh also wished Guru a speedy recovery.

The Punjabi movie, Shaunki Sardar is a much-anticipated film that will also mark actor Nimrat Ahluwalia’s big-screen debut. The movie is set to release next year, it promises a heartfelt story of love, loyalty, and cultural pride. It is produced by Guru’s own production house, 751 Films, and directed by Dheeraj Rattan.

Guru Randhawa is known for chart-topping songs such as Lahore, Patola, Ishare Tere, High Rated Gabru, Slowly Slowly, and Tere Te. His debut song was Same Girl.

In 2019, Guru was beaten up by a gang of boys, who tried to interrupt his concert. Guru got four stitches as a result of the assault.
