WEBDESK: Dmitry Bivol is back on top of the light-heavyweight division after defeating Artur Beterbiev in a thrilling rematch to become the undisputed world champion. The fight in Saudi Arabia saw Bivol put on a boxing masterclass, winning by a majority decision 114-114, 116-112, 115-113.

The Beterbiev vs Bivol rematch was a battle of two different styles. Bivol, 34, used his quick feet and fast punches to control the fight, while Beterbiev, 40, relied on his raw strength. Early on Beterbiev landed some big hits, but Bivol’s endurance and speed took over in the later rounds, avenging his loss from their first fight in October.

Beterbiev, who lost for the first time in 22 fights, said: “I didn’t want this rematch, but if needed we can do a third fight.”
