Webdesk: Azaad fact check has identified another attempt at spreading misinformation on social media.
An Indian RAW-affiliated account on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, going by the name FrontalForce, has claimed that “Pakistan Army soldiers seen firing directly at unarmed civilians protesting military excesses in Tirah.”
The claim further adds, “Despite clear visuals of the soldiers shooting, the Pakistani government falsely claimed that ‘terrorists’ were behind the attack. Pak Army exposed.”

However, Azaad Fact Check has found these claims to be completely baseless. As always, this is nothing more than a lousy attempt at spreading misinformation and chaos among people. This is just an attempt to sow mistrust and restlessness in people; however, these claims have now been debunked.
Azaad Fact Check has disproved a false claim made by an India-based X account that accused the Pakistani army of firing directly at civilians.
A detailed review of the video from another angle shows that the soldiers were actually firing into the air to disperse a crowd, not targeting people.
The gun can be clearly seen facing upwards; however, the propaganda account seems to be lacking any comprehensive skills. Instead of looking at the video, it seems the account was too busy fabricating this false narrative, carelessly.
It is a concerning habit to see recycled discredited information to drive a false narrative. Individuals should remain updated with official and credible information, especially during periods where people are unsure of what is happening or when information is spreading fast.
By consulting with confirmed news sources and trustworthy authorities or news channels that update with verified information, one can avoid information distortion and unreasonable panic.
False rumours are circulated on social media and elsewhere, usually without confirmation, and are often viral and distorted. Remaining linked with credible sources will help to provide the audience with the correctly framed, timely, and responsible information.
