WEB DESK (Azaad English): Apple leaker and Front Page Tech host Jon Prosser unveiled the “actual” design of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro in a YouTube video on Friday.
Apple’s new iPhone could look very different from previous editions of the phone. Every year, Apple brings new changes, but this time, it seems like they are making big changes in the design. The leaks show that the new iPhone 17 will have a new camera design, a slimmer body, and a fresh look.

Lighter build?
The leaks suggest that the Apple iPhone 17 Pro is expected to be lighter than its previous edition, though there’s no information yet on what material changes have been made. A lighter iPhone would be easier to hold and carry.
This new “iPhone 17” would potentially replace the iPhone 17 Plus model. It could feature a 6.6-inch screen, making it slightly smaller than the iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro Max but still bigger than the base model.
Similarly, it’s likely the slim model will be more expensive than the base model but comparatively cheaper than the Pro models.
When it comes to what’s inside the phone, the iPhone 17 could feature an A-18 or A-19 branded chip. It could also include 8GB of RAM.
New camera design?
The biggest change that people are talking about is the camera design. Instead of the usual vertical camera setup used in previous models, the iPhone 17 could feature a horizontal camera setup much like that of the Google Pixel. As of now, it is unclear as to which model would feature the said design.
The selfie camera will also receive a major upgrade to 24-megapixels. That’s a decent bump from the previous 12-megapixel camera. However, it’s important to note that more megapixels don’t necessarily mean better photographs.
Other possible features?
Rumours suggest that the new iPhones will have an aluminium design. Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could have a narrower dynamic island, thanks to a smaller face ID sensor. The dynamic island on the other models would stay the same.
Moreover, all models of the iPhone 17 could feature a 120Hz display. This will be a welcome addition for non-Pro users, as they had 60Hz screens before this.
