This visit led to the creation of a High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council and the signing of multiple agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) in diverse fields.
Prime Minister Sharif further highlighted that he had directed his ministers to swiftly act on the agreements and discussions held with Uzbek officials.
Ambassador Tukhtaev, in response, reaffirmed President Mirziyoyev’s commitment to deepening the partnership between the two countries. He also confirmed that the Uzbek President had accepted an invitation to visit Pakistan later this year, with the dates to be mutually decided.
