Former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan has said that his brother, Shakeel Ahmad Khan, was murdered in front of his house in Swabi.
The ex-senator announced the news via X.
In a post, ex-Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said, “My elder brother Shakeel Ahmad Khan was brutally murdered in front of his house. This brother was very dear to me. This is the worst cruelty.”
He also called him “his strong support system”.

Shakeel Ahmad Khan was in the village in front of his house when unknown assailants opened fire, leading to his demise.
His house is in Ahad Khan Kalay Sheikh Jana of District Swabi. As of yet, no case has been registered.
During the shooting, two people, including Shakeel, were killed, and one person was injured. At the moment, he is in critical condition.
According to the police, the person who shot the senator’s brother was not mentally stable.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, strongly condemned the killing and expressed solidarity with ex-Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and his family in their time of sorrow.
He also urged that the case must be registered immediately.
