RAWALPINDI: Security has been put on high alert in Rawalpindi following the blast at Madressah Haqqania in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nowshera district.
City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi, Syed Khalid Hamdani, confirmed the development, saying that additional security personnel have been deployed at major locations across the city.
Security checks at entry and exit points have also been intensified to prevent any potential threats.
Furthermore, police officers and personnel in the field have been directed to keep a close watch on suspicious individuals and activities. The CPO has also ordered an increase in security at important public places to ensure safety.
